Rebecca Leenheer, MD specializes in pediatric ophthalmology, eye muscle disorders in children and adults, as well as general adult ophthalmology. She graduated Suma Cum Laude from Colorado State University with a degree in Biological Sciences and Neurobiology. Her medical degree is from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California. She also completed her ophthalmology residency at Loma Linda University. Additionally, she completed a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at the University of Southern California and Cedars Sinai. Dr. Leenheer is very active in the American Association for Pediatrics Ophthalmology and Strabismus and serves on the Socioeconomic Committee and Young Ophthalmologist Committee. She is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is an Assistant Professor at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine.
Becky is married and has two young boys. She loves serving others and has an interest in nutrition, running, hiking, and reading.

In an effort to keep you, our patients, and staff safe please be aware of the following policies:
Only patient (adult) will be permitted in for appointment. For minors, patient and one parent/guardian will be permitted in for appointment.
Masks are required for all people entering office. Masks should be worn properly over nose and mouth at all times, except for children 2 years and under.
Regardless of vaccination status any upcoming appointment should be postponed if patient or anyone living with patient has tested positive for COVID or had known exposure to a person with COVID in the past 14 days.
Please postpone your appointment if you have had the following symptoms in the last 14 days: fever/chills, cough, muscle/body aches, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, nausea/vomiting, diarrhea.
