Todd Goldblum, MD

SPECIALIZATION:

Pediatric ophthalmology and eye muscle disorders in children and adults.

 

CERTIFICATIONS & EDUCATION: 

  • Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology

  • Medical degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH

  • 2 years of pediatric residency completed at MetroHealth/Saint Luke’s Medical Center in Cleveland, OH

  • Fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus completed at the University of Minnesota

 

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT:

  • State Medical Advisor for New Mexico Lions Operation Kid Sight

  • Serves on the Vision Screen Advisory Committee for the NM Department of Health

  • Assistant Professor at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine

 

HUMAN BEING:

Dr. Goldblum is married and has 2 beautiful daughters, Jessica and Zoe. He likes to ski, bike, and listen to music. 

Rebecca Leenheer, MD

SPECIALIZATION:

Pediatric ophthalmology, eye muscle disorders in children and adults, and general adult ophthalmology.

  • Graduated Suma Cum Laude from Colorado State University with a degree in Biological Sciences & Neurobiology

  • Medical degree from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, CA

  • Fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus completed at the University of Southern California and Cedars Sinai

  • Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology

 

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT:

  • Very active in the American Association for Pediatrics Ophthalmology and Strabismus

  • Serves on the Socioeconomic Committee and Young Ophthalmologist Committee

  • Assistant Professor at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine

 

HUMAN BEING:

Becky is married and has two boys. She loves serving others, nutrition, running, hiking, and reading.

John Hickox, MD

SPECIALIZATION:

Pediatric ophthalmology, eye muscle disorders in children, and general adult ophthalmology.

CERTIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION: 

  • Completed medical school and ophthalmology residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX.

  • Fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus completed at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. 

  • Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology

 

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT:

  • Assistant Professor at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine

 

HUMAN BEING:

Dr. Hickox enjoys spending time with his wife, hiking, skiing, cycling, and working on his yard.

Krista Heidar, MD

SPECIALIZATION:

Pediatric ophthalmology and complex eye diseases in children.

CERTIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION: 

  • Completed medical school and ophthalmology residency at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, CA

  • Fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and eye motility disorders completed at Oregon Health Science University in Portland, OR

  • Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and active participant in Maintenance of Certification

 

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT:

  • While she sees patients at our Albuquerque office, she is also on staff at UNM where she screens and treats premature infants for Retinopathy of Prematurity.

 

HUMAN BEING:

Dr. Heidar is married and has 1 daughter. She loves spending time with her family, hiking, skiing, and exploring the outdoors.

Anne Bilyeu Crisler Cromer, OD

SPECIALIZATION:

Comprehensive optometry for (nearly) all ages.

CERTIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION: 

  • Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Indiana University, Bloomington 

  • Doctorate in Optometry from Indiana University, Bloomington 

  • Clinical training in Miami, Florida and Guanajuato, Mexico 

  • License to practice optometry in New Mexico and Nevada

 

HUMAN BEING:

Dr. Crisler Cromer was born and raised in the Albuquerque area.  She is proudly and joyfully a part of a blended family having a husband, one daughter, one stepdaughter, and one stepson.  Learning about other people and experiencing different cultures are things she values and enjoys. She speaks some Spanish and some French.
